Our aim with our short-term outreach tours is to enable as many people as possible to come by keeping expenses and charges as low as possible. These are the ways we do this :
We are totally committed to supporting local congregations and ministries in Israel. We do not work independently of local leaders. All our short-term teams, therefore, involve working closely with leaders who will help us to have the maximum impact while we are there. This has the added advantage of giving you a taste of what "church" is like in Israel - on both sides of the cultural divide.
We have two mission tours arranged for 2016 :
30th April - 8th May in Jerusalem (with optional 3 day extension to visit Galilee)
30th August - 7th September in Galilee
Staying in our St Paul's ministry centre, we will work with Christ Church as they prepare for a fun outreach to the citizens of Jerusalem in the form of an English-style "Spring fair". This has the dual purpose of being a witness to the people of the city and a fund-raiser for several charities in the Land.
There will be opportunities to visit local fellowships and biblical sites in Jerusalem and at least one day trip out of the city to the Dead Sea area.
The 3 day extension will be a minibus trip to the Galilee area, visiting Bible sites and enjoying the peace and quiet of rural Israel. This time also includes Israel's independence day celebrations back in Jerusalem before flying home on 12th May.

On this tour we will be working with experienced evangelists from Operation Mobilisation, who specialise in helping short-term teams to witness to Israelis in the Tiberias area. We will stay in an apartment in a hostel-style hotel in the town as our base and carry out street work and out-door drama down on the lakeside.
The tour will include trips to such biblical sites as Capernaum, Nazareth, Megiddo and others.
